May Meeting

May's meeting will feature a very special guest speaker, Detective Phil Wall with
the Seattle Police Department.

I
n a career that has spanned over two decades with the Seattle Police
Department, Detective Phil Wall has done it all: foot patrol, bike patrol,
car patrol, S.W.A.T. team, and his current assignment as a robbery
detective. Come listen to Phil talk about his experiences, why he decided
to become a cop, etc.

The meeting is at the usual time (5:30ish to 7:30-8ish), but
*we're trying
out a new venue*.

*Here are the details*:

We're meeting at a place called *Horizon House*,
in downtown Seattle.

Here's the *address*:

900 University Street (between 9th and Terry); garage is at 9th and
University corner.

It's a big retirement condo complex. One of our chapter members lives
there, and they've got a meeting room that will accommodate about 16 folks.

So please, if you're planning to attend, RSVP to me here (
bthorntonwriter@gmail.com) ASAP. First come, first served, and once we've
hit the number of available seats, the meeting will be closed to further
RSVPs.
