MWA is the premier organization for mystery writers and other professionals in the mystery
field, and the Northwest Chapter serves members of MWA that live in Alaska, Idaho,
Oregon, and Washington. Here you will find links and news about our chapter and our
members. Please check back often as the site is updated on a regular basis.
Our meetings include a speaker but are relaxed affairs that last about two hours with enough
time to socialize with other mystery writers. Meetings are held at Romio's Pizza and Pasta,
8523 Greenwood Avenue North, Seattle. Romio's has pizza, pasta, salads, as well as beer
and wine. Each person orders and pays individually, and Romio's automatically adds the
gratuity for the hard-working staff. There is no other cost for attending the meeting, but
please RSVP as reservations are helpful for planning, although not required. Spouses,
significant others, and those interested in MWA are also welcome to attend. Please check
